Not gonna lie, I considered doing this for about 30 seconds because I already have bright blue doc marten boots and thighs like Nicki Minaj. Then I came to my senses…but I like to think that there’s a sorority somewhere out there in matching pink wigs learning this dance so they can perform it at whatever Halloween kegger they’re going to.
This costume is no Beyonce, but of all the skirts I’ve made out of pillowcases this is probably my favorite.

I keep coming up with what (at the moment) seem like fun Halloween costume ideas for me or other people, only to realize a split second later that they’re probably all unrecognizable to anyone who doesn’t spend their entire day watching music videos over and over. Also usually I see something and think “That would be so easy to dress up as!” and then as I think it through I realize that no one owns 80% of the components of these outfits…
